What is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)?

GEO is the practice of making your content easy for AI systems like ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini and Perplexity to retrieve, cite, and represent accurately in the answers they generate. Where SEO targets rankings in a list of links, GEO targets being part of the answer itself. Full guide →

Can you guarantee my business appears in ChatGPT answers?

No — and nobody honestly can. AI answers are probabilistic and controlled by third parties; the same question asked twice can cite different sources. What we do instead: fix every measurable input, benchmark your buyers' real questions on a schedule, and report your citation share over time so you can see whether it is rising.

Will automated changes break my site?

The system is conservative by default. Only low-risk technical changes ship automatically, and each one goes through a gate: state recorded, backup written, diff generated, quality checks passed, then applied and re-verified on the live URL. If verification fails, the change rolls back automatically. Larger changes are delivered as patches for your approval instead.

How is GEO different from the SEO work I already do?

SEO remains the entry ticket — crawlable, indexable pages. GEO adds passage-level answerability, evidence density, entity clarity, AI-crawler policy management, and a different measurement: instead of rankings and clicks, we track whether AI engines retrieve you, cite you, and describe you accurately, and whether AI-referred visitors convert.

How do you measure results?

A five-stage funnel, each stage measured separately: crawlability, indexation, retrieval, citation in real AI answers, and conversion of AI-referred traffic. Every engagement starts with a timestamped baseline. Metrics we cannot measure yet are reported as exactly that — we never invent a composite AI score.

What does the free audit include?

A real run of our audit pipeline against your site: technical eligibility findings, a per-crawler access matrix showing which AI bots can and cannot reach you, and the first opportunities we would act on. You get it as a readable report by email, no obligation.

Do I need a website to start?

A website is where most GEO work lands, so results are strongest with one. If you do not have one yet, the audit still maps how AI engines currently describe your business and what a citable web presence for your niche would need — useful input before you build.
